Ibiza Food and drink
Ibiza prides itself on it's traditional Spanish cuisine. As you would expect Paella is served at many traditional restaurants. Sea food is in abundance and you will find some of the finest served. Chicken and veal are the more popular meats served. Within the main resorts you will find a choice of restaurants and bars offering international cuisine (including British).
If you seek a romantic meal out or a celebration dinner, then do book a table at the La Olvia restaurant, located in the old town of Ibiza.
Drinks served are international and local. San Miguel is the national beer.

The Balearic Parliament to introduce a new Tourist Tax.
From July the first 2016 visitors to any of the Balearic Islands will have to pay a local tax when checking in to their holiday accommodation. Adults will have to pay around €1.5 per day but children under 16 will be exempt. More details and charges can be seen here.
