Top 3 things to do in Malta1/. Shopping: The Republic Street houses the most shops in Valletta. There are souvenir shops and clothes shops and other shops selling valuable articles. Daily markets are held in the Triq il-Mercanti, which is located parallel to the Republic Street. Here you can buy cheap clothes and household articles after a good haggle. In Sliema the fashionable boutiques and shops are all clustered in a small are of the island, commonly referred to as “the Ferries”. UK high street is a very popular place for shopping. Plaza shopping complex is well known for its variety. Haggling about the price of goods in Sliema is an impossible task.

The Al Solito Posto is located in Milner Street in Silema is little haven serving Italian food and is the place to be for pizza lovers. Possibly the best pizzas anywhere on the island, on offer at very competitive prices, are served in this small Sicilian-run restaurant situated within the Astra Hotel lobby.
